Interview Article : Lakshya Soni: From Meme Page to Digital Powerhouse — An Exclusive Interview with the Visionary Behind BeatKingSMM

Mumbai, July 2025 — At just 19 years old, Lakshya Soni has accomplished what many seasoned entrepreneurs dream of — building one of India’s fastest-growing digital marketing platforms, earning international recognition, and impacting thousands of lives across the country. Born in Chhattisgarh and now a student of BSc Forensic Science, Lakshya is the founder of BeatKingSMM, a platform that has processed over 30 crore+ orders.

His journey began with a meme page in 2018 and evolved into a full-fledged, performance-driven brand that’s reshaping the creator economy. Recently honored with the International Glory Award, presented by actress Tamannaah Bhatia, Lakshya is not just an entrepreneur—he’s a symbol of ambition, ethics, and youth leadership.

We caught up with the digital prodigy to talk about his roots, success strategies, and what’s next.

Q1. Lakshya, congratulations on the International Glory Award! How does it feel to be recognized on such a massive platform at this age?

Lakshya: Thank you! Honestly, it’s surreal. Standing beside someone like Tamannaah Bhatia and receiving an award on a global platform was emotional for me. But more than that, it was a moment of validation—for all those nights spent learning, failing, and trying again. It’s not just my award; it’s a symbol for every small-town kid who dreams big with limited resources.

Q2. Tell us how BeatKingSMM started. From memes to marketing—what inspired the leap?

Lakshya: I always say BeatKingSMM wasn’t built—it evolved. In 2018, I created a meme page just for fun. It was never about business back then. But I started noticing trends, how content performed, and what triggered engagement. That curiosity led me into understanding social media algorithms, SEO, content psychology, and audience behavior. I realized there was a huge gap in authentic digital growth services. That’s when BeatKingSMM was born.

Q3. You built BeatKingSMM without investor funding. How did you manage to scale so efficiently?

Lakshya: It was tough, but also liberating. Without investor pressure, I had full control over the quality and ethics of the brand. I reinvested every small earning back into the platform. Instead of flashy ads, I focused on delivering value—our clients became our biggest ambassadors. Word-of-mouth did what marketing budgets couldn’t. Consistency, transparency, and treating every client like our first one helped us grow organically.

Q4. What do you think makes BeatKingSMM different from other digital marketing platforms?

Lakshya: Most platforms offer vanity numbers—fake likes, bots, empty engagement. We do the opposite. We provide real, data-driven growth. Our strategies are tailored, our reports are transparent, and our backend tech is optimized for performance. We’ve helped creators earn ₹3–₹7 lakh per video by matching content with the right audience using SEO intelligence and platform algorithms. We don’t sell hype—we deliver results.

Q5. How do you balance being a full-time student and running a multi-crore business?

Lakshya: (laughs) Time management is everything. I treat both my studies and business with equal seriousness. I wake up early, block my hours, and delegate whenever necessary. My team is fantastic—they understand the vision and take ownership. Also, I’ve learned to say no to distractions. I don’t party much, don’t binge-watch—my passion drives me more than anything.

Q6. Your YouTube channel “proo_lakshya” also has over 3 lakh subscribers. What made you get into gaming content?

Lakshya: I’ve been a gamer for years. It started as a stress-buster but then I saw the potential in gaming content. I applied the same marketing principles to my channel—engagement analysis, title optimization, thumbnails, etc. The response was incredible. Now, it’s more than a hobby. It helps me connect with a different audience, and it keeps my creative side alive.

Q7. Let’s talk about your new project—Proo Academy. What is it, and why did you launch it?

Lakshya: Proo Academy is a free educational platform I’m launching for underprivileged youth in Uttar Pradesh and later across India. We’ll teach digital marketing, branding, content creation, and entrepreneurship. Why? Because I was lucky to have internet and access to knowledge, but many don’t. This academy is my way of giving back—to create more Lakshyas, more changemakers, more digital warriors.

Q8. What’s been the biggest challenge in your journey so far?

Lakshya: Honestly, credibility. At 16 or 17, people don’t take you seriously. Even when I had results to show, some thought I was “too young to know this.” But I didn’t let that discourage me. I kept showing up, delivering value, and being consistent. Over time, trust followed. Age is just a number; effort speaks louder.

Q9. Who inspires you as an entrepreneur?

Lakshya: I draw inspiration from a mix of people—Elon Musk for his boldness, Virat Kohli for his discipline, and Indian entrepreneurs like Ghazal Alagh and Aman Gupta for their rooted yet global thinking. But above all, my parents. They’ve supported me unconditionally, even when they didn’t fully understand what I was building.

Q10. What advice would you give to teenagers who want to start something but feel limited by age or resources?

Lakshya: Don’t wait for perfection. Start small. Your phone, internet connection, and curiosity are enough. Learn one skill—SEO, design, copywriting, coding—master it, and then solve problems with it. Fail fast, but never fake your work. If you show up every day, you’ll be surprised at how far you can go in a year.

Q11. Where do you see BeatKingSMM in the next 3–5 years?

Lakshya: We’re working on automation tools, expanding into international markets, and launching AI-powered growth tracking dashboards. Also, I want Proo Academy to train at least 10,000 students by 2027. BeatKingSMM won’t just be a marketing platform—it will be a growth ecosystem for creators, brands, and learners.

Q12. One last question—what does success mean to you now?

Lakshya: For me, success isn’t a car or a number in the bank. It’s waking up every morning excited to build, to help, and to grow. It’s giving my family a better life and creating opportunities for others. If your success doesn’t uplift someone else, it’s incomplete.
