In the author’s own words about his book:
“This book is not by design. It just happened to me one day while cracking peanuts near India Gate, adjacent to Udyog Bhawan. I realized that the peanut seller makes a turnover of 18-20 lakhs per annum. I started writing… I conducted research on the intricacies and dynamics of street food businesses in the NCR. I interviewed over 1000 respondents in person. I conducted a comprehensive analysis of almost all factors that contribute to the success and challenges faced by street food vendors… and I wrote… and wrote… ‘Nano Delights: Unveiling the Vibrant World of Delhi’s Street Food Vendors in ‘Sizzling Streets.” I wrote about the cultural heritage, financial dynamics, challenges, and prospects of these businesses. I delved into the struggles of these resilient entrepreneurs. I uncovered the nuances around location, operations, product offerings, customer feedback, and marketing strategies, as well as financial shortcomings.”
Critics have praised the book, saying:
