Mother’s Day – a day dedicated to Mother – a figure, a person, a personality without whose presence a home is not a home. The presence of a Mother means all is well. Mother’s Day is celebrated every year on the 2nd Sunday of the month of May in every house/home.
Quoting Cardinal Mermillod – “A mother is she who can take the pledge of all others but whose place no one else can take.”
The origin of Mother’s Day dates back to the early 20th century, when Anna Jarvis campaigned for a day to honor mothers as a way of commemorating her own mother’s activism and social work. The first official Mother’s Day was celebrated in 1914.
On this day, every mother is showered with gifts and presents of her choice. She is taken to pledges that she loves to visit. It’s basically an off day for her from her daily routine.
This year, on 14th May 2023 Kreative Minds also celebrated the same but in an artistic manner. The learners of Kreative Minds made beautiful artwork expressing their love for their mothers in the form of drawing art & craft.
Well what a Mother does is beyond anyone’s imagination and it can never be repayed and all she does will always remain uncounted.
Each and every picture and artworks shows the role of mother in the life of the children.
Founders view of Kreative Minds Amrita Tiwary said : “A mother is the one who brings life to this world. She is the most powerful, innocent, beautiful, strongest, emotional person one can have in their life. Every person should be blessed to have a mother in their life. She is the one who shapes and structures our life from the day the seed is in her womb. This day should be celebrated every single day and every single moment.”
