Prapti Roy Bhagat is a mother, a makeup artist, a content creator, and an entrepreneur. She set off on her career journey as a makeup artist in 2008 with the name Classywomaniya.
Classywomaniya is Prapti’s brainchild, a makeup studio and academy with updated knowledge and skills she acquired from world-famous institutions. Classywomaniya is a name that is unknown to many in the world, but a name that should be known for its rich repository of knowledge about the makeup world.
Prapti, admits that the trajectory to success in the fiercely competitive makeup profession is straightforward and can only be conquered with learning. Prapti believes “learning is the key to success.”
Prapti, who hails from a small city Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, feels that it is difficult for makeup artists to be recognised worldwide, something which comes easy for makeup artists living in the metropolis. However, the power of art cannot be tamed and it only illuminates brighter with the fire of passion. So, the passion inside classywomaniya translated into spreading this art further and adding a touch of beauty to the world through makeup.
Prapti struggled to make her way through success, but she eventually achieved the position where she saw herself: becoming the top makeup artist in India, regardless of all the odds. This classywomaniya didn’t stop until she succeeded in her mission and won’t stop till she finishes her goals of augmenting a makeup revolution.
Prapti excelled in her Makeup studies at London School of makeup, London College of makeup(Dubai). Additionally, she learnt from Hollywood makeup artist Bobbi Brown and lots of other world’s best celebrity makeup artists. Prapti never had to look back after gaining such knowledge. As knowledge is an asset and she has all the golden feathers on her hat. In 2019, Honourable Shri Bhupesh Baghel, Chief Minister Chhattisgarh, presented her with Gauravshali Chhattisgarh award for being an influential artist. She also won the Most influential makeup artist of India award presented by actress Soha Ali Khan for her LGBTQ community makeup project.
After the exemplary display of makeup art, Classywomaniya Prapti received Big brand collaboration for content creation like Huda beauty, and Sugar cosmetic, among others. With her hard work and dedication, she managed to achieve good traction on social media, including Instagram Facebook etc. She has worked for many celebrities like Neha Kakkar, Shweta Mehta, Madame Gandhi, Bpraak, Harrdy Sandhu and more. She worked for short movies like The note, My dear best maid and in the recent The static in which she will display her amazing prosthetics skills as one of the few prosthetics artists in India.
Her voyage thus far had both roses and thorns. However, for the young generation, all she wants to offer are roses. For this, she runs her makeup learning programs online and offline for those who have the same passion for makeup and beauty. So far, she has mentored thousands of individuals around the globe since she started her career. She excels in bridal makeup and curated the latest bridal looks that are globally on-trend.
