Crescent Public School and Creative Mind Pre School Commemorate Maharashtra Day and Labor Day, and Launch Summer Camp 2023 on May 1st.

The Maharashtra Day and Labor Day celebration and Inauguration of Summer Camp 2023 was organized by Crescent Public School and Creative Mind Pre School run and managed by Crescent Shikshan Prasarak Mandal. The program was graced by notable personalities, including Mr. Chandan Singh Chandel, Ex-Chairman of Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra State, Mohammad Sharif Sir, Ex-Principal of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule College, and Ismail Dhakwala, Tejender Singh Dari, Lucky Kalsi, Munna Thakur, and School Principal Mrs. Humera Khan.

The event began with the rendition of the state song of Maharashtra, “Jai Jai Maharashtra Mazha,” by Mr. Vijay Parkhi and Smt. Manisha Gatlewar. Shri Chandansinghji Chandel hoisted the flag, and the National Anthem was sung by the school children, guests, and teachers. Suvarna Ramteke and Suvarna Jagzap welcomed the guests and talked about the significance of Maharashtra Day, while Miss. Tasneem gave information about the summer camp scheduled for 2023.

Mr. Chandan Singh Chandel, the Ex-Chairman of Forest Development Corporation Maharashtra State, inaugurated the summer camp organized by Crescent Public School and Creative Mind Pre School by cutting the ribbon. The ceremony was also marked by the felicitation of two exceptional women, Mrs. Sunita Patil and Vinatai Meshram, on the occasion of Labor Day. Both were presented with shawls, shrifal, and badges of honor. Mrs. Sapna Patil was honored for being the first female auto driver in Ballarpur despite adverse circumstances at home. Vinatai Meshram, on the other hand, was honored for her unwavering commitment to her family despite having to distribute papers to her husband due to palsy injury. Both women demonstrated remarkable self-confidence and resilience in the face of social inequality, and their example serves as a great inspiration to society. The felicitation of Mrs. Sunita Patil and Vinatai Meshram on the occasion of Labor Day was a truly heartening moment. These women have shown that with determination and perseverance, it is possible to overcome any obstacle and succeed in life.
