The People Forum of India (National Bharat Sevak Samaj) — a Government of India–recognised national organisation committed to social welfare, empowerment, and nation-building — has officially announced the appointment of Dr Shruti as the State Secretary of the Women’s Wing for Haryana. Her appointment, effective immediately, has been approved by the National President of the Forum, with the blessings of the Hon’ble President of the Republic of India. The official appointment letter, dated November 7, 2025, was issued by Dr Bhargav Mallappa, National Vice President and In-Charge of Organisations and Administration, whose dynamic leadership continues to guide the Forum’s administrative and developmental initiatives at the national level.
Dr. Shruti has been appointed to coordinate and expand women-centric welfare programs across Haryana. Her responsibilities include promoting women’s participation in community development, enhancing the organization’s presence at the district level, and leading empowerment campaigns with the Forum’s leadership. A key pillar in Dr Shruti’s journey is her husband, Dr Rahul Singh Jalaunia, an ASMO at Civil Hospital in Ambala City, with an M.D. from PGIMER, Chandigarh.
