Skyy Rider Electric to Enter Material Handling Segment with New “Optimus” Series of Battery-Operated Platform Trucks

After making a strong mark in the electric golf cart market, Skyy Rider Electric, one of India’s fastest-growing EV startups, is now set to diversify its portfolio by entering the material handling equipment segment. The company has officially announced the upcoming launch of its battery-operated platform truck range, under the name “Optimus Series.”
The Optimus Series is designed to revolutionize industrial and commercial logistics by offering eco-friendly, heavy-duty transport solutions. The lineup includes three variants:
Optimus 2T – Load capacity of 2 tons
Optimus 3T – Load capacity of 3 tons
Optimus 4T – Load capacity of 4 tons
Speaking about the launch, Mr. Nihar Panda, Founder & CEO of Skyy Rider Electric, said,

The new Optimus series will be officially unveiled in the coming months, with commercial deployment expected to begin soon after.
